Seasonal weekend journeys connecting deeply to the medicine of Cacao and a plant ally from these lands
These weekend retreats are an invitation to journey deep within yourself, to find connection, clarity and healing. With myself and the plant allies as your guides, you will be led into a powerful communion with the Spirit of Cacao and a native plant ally of these lands, helping to connect you to the medicine that these incredible plants have to offer.
You will journey together in a group, learning plant spirit communication, herbal medicine making and a sacred craft, as well as being taken on powerful shamanic journeys to support you with your personal intention and healing process. Each weekend retreat will be slightly different depending on the native plant ally who comes forward to work with us. Other practices that may be included are; dance journeys, storytelling, channelling, plant spirit song, weaving, tarot, talisman making.
Our time together will take place inside a beautiful Yurt in Totnes, providing the perfect ceremonial container for us to journey within. We will begin on the Friday evening with our Opening Ceremony, and then spend the next two full days together in reverence, connection and listening.
These retreats are deeply transformative immersions into Plant Spirit Shamanism. They are not gentle weekend workshops. So please only sign up if you are looking for an initiatory journey, deep into yourself.
Introducing Our First Immersion...
For this first weekend immersion, we will be connecting to the plant spirits of Cacao and Lemon Balm. This retreat will be an invitation to drop into deeper layers of listening, visioning and dreaming, supporting you to access hidden gifts that may be waiting for you within.
Lemon Balm helps to soothe and regulate the nervous system, acting as a balm for the heart and mind.
This plant also supports us in visioning and dreaming, guiding us deep into ourselves. Lemon Balm and Cacao will help us to notice any blockages that are holding us back from stepping into our true, innate gifts.

Mother Cacao will be our guiding force, supporting us in opening our hearts and our intuition, so that we can receive the subtle yet transformative messages from Lemon Balm.
This ceremonial weekend will be a space for you to connect to a dream, vision or gift that you have been holding within, giving you the spaciousness to allow the inspiration to flow through you.
Through plant spirit communication, medicine making, shamanic journeys, storytelling and the weaving of a sacred altar cloth, you will have the opportunity to weave the new threads of your dream into being.
The practices above will support you to release any blockages or old stories that may be holding you back, so that you can step into a more vibrant and aligned version of you.

Where Will The Immersion Be Held?
We will journey together inside this beautiful Yurt, in the very heart of Totnes, Devon. This sacred space is surrounded by abundant nature, honey bees, flowers and a gentle river flowing at the bottom of the garden. There is a log burner to keep the space cosy, and lots of soft blankets, cushions and sheep skins for comfort.

Weaving a Sacred Cloth
Using cardboard looms you will be shown how to weave your own sacred cloth. This crafting time will be an invitation for you to weave the messages, visions, healing and inspiration into a powerful cloth to take home.

Cardboard loom, beautiful hand carved needle, a selection of natural and dyed wool and warp thread for you to weave with (all of these are for you to take home with you too!)

A little peek at what's included in this weekend immersion...
​
I've had a deep connection to plants ever since I way young, noticing that when I really listened and dropped into myself, I could feel them communicating to me. My mother used to have a beautiful herb garden which I loved. She would take me to each plant and encourage me to spend time with them, to smell them and see how they made me feel. Now 33 years on, it has become such a deeply embedded practice, that I talk to plants and trees as I would my human friends.
I feel so inspired to teach others how to communicate with our native plants for healing, wisdom and ancestral remembering.
I know that we all have the ability to connect to plants in this way, all it takes is an open heart and mind, an ability to listen and plenty of practice!

6 years ago, I started my Plant Spirit journey with Cacao. Through shamanic journeying, meditations, dancing, channeling and intuitive free-flow writing, I developed a very profound connection to her as a medicine and a teacher. My life began to transform before my eyes, and as I acted on the wisdom and messages that I was given, I began to heal in ways that I had never through possible.

My Journey With The Plants
I then became curious. What about the plants and trees from these lands? They also hold deep magic and wisdom, which they are aching to share with us humans. I began to combine Cacao with a plant ally from these lands, and through shamanic journeying and deep contemplation, began to experience incredible shifts and realisations.
​
I found that Cacao was helping my nervous system to regulate and my energetic sensitivity to heighten, which was making it much easier for me to receive the subtle yet powerful messages from these plants. ​
​
I then began to journey even deeper with native plants, creating a sacred book that recorded all the messages and wisdom that came to me from them. With the support of Cacao and 8 plants, I created my own Medicine Wheel over a 13 moon period, spending two moon cycles with each plant, to really allow their stories, medicine and healing to filter into me.
These plants are incredibly dear to my heart, and are constantly walking with me on this path through life. They are anchors for me as I traverse what it means to be a human, a mother, a partner, a daughter, a sister, a teacher, a student.

My heart felt wish is to share this wisdom with others, to support people with the tools to create their own sacred connections with the plants, and in doing so bring deep healing and transformation into their lives.
This work with plant spirit shamanism can be deeply transformative. Please be aware that these retreats are powerful initiatory experiences that can bring a lot to the surface to be seen and healed.
