This particular and unique instrument is tuned to the deep low Key of D (to 432Hz A) and she sings with a wonderfully woody and clear timbre, balanced back pressure & a stable fundamental note.

The block is carved from Walnut wood mounted atop of an end grain Pine foot which absorbs moisture when you play. Tied on with leather and adorned with Hazel wood beads.
Coated in 2 layers of natural polymerising oil varnish (treatex hard wax oil) to protect the wood whilst retaining the organic feel of the branch. The insides are charred and oiled to prevent mould and harden the wood.
