Wild Soul Cacao is being reborn! My partner Evan and I have been squirrelled away over the last 9 months, dreaming into the changes that we want to make, and the change that we wish to see in the world of Cacao.

Over the last year, we have formed a very beautiful relationship with an Ashaninka community in the Santipo region of the highlands of Peru, and we’re so touched by their story, that we felt deeply called to support them through the sale of their sacred cacao.
They are the first all-indigenous run cooperative in the whole of Peru (so no Westerners owning anything!), with the families living 100% from the abundance of the forest.
The cacao trees are grown on small family owned plots of land, in a biodiverse rainforest. The manager in charge of bean selection, roasting and grinding is a young, educated woman from this region, which represents the powerful wave of women stepping into stewarding the future of ceremonial cacao.
With the world of Cacao changing so drastically, with cacao shortages, unpredictable weather, rising prices and the fact that it’s becoming harder and harder to source true, ethically sourced, ceremonial grade cacao, this rebirth has felt essential. To us, knowing exactly where our cacao has come from is immensely important. For us, it is imperative that we are able to trace the cacao back to the individual farms, knowing that the trees have been tended to with love and reverence, and the pods grown organically within bio-diverse cacao orchards, which support a multitude of eco systems.
Knowing that the indigenous farmers are being paid a better-than-fair wage and that their families thrive through the extra jobs that are created. To us, these things are essential when choosing the cacao that we wish to drink.
We have decided to re-define our values and direction, to be more fully in reverence to the indigenous farmers and communities who supply our cacao, whilst bringing transparency and authenticity to our connection to the Ashaninka families who work so hard to tend to their sacred trees.

Wild Soul Cacao's new look!
We have launched our new artwork and branding, which my beloved partner Evan Hollingdale has been working on over the last 9 months, to bring our dreams and visions into alignment with this new ethos.
Our doors are now open to new wholesale customers!
We are welcoming in ceremonialists, retail and refill shops, cafes and venues who wish to share cacao with their communities! So please get in touch if this feels exciting to you. Or maybe you are looking to hold womens or mens circles, yoga retreats, shamanic ceremonies, ecstatic dances, tattoo ceremonies, womb healing circles, one-to-one healing sessions with clients, nature connection days, art or crafting workshops, or something else… and you wish to share cacao in your own way, with your own essence? If so, we can support you with lower prices, wholesale guide support, and attentive care as you begin or grow your business with cacao.
